I love the monthly thing I am doing with “I’m a Lover of Words” so I decided to do a similar one with quotes. As stated many times before, I love words and when there are multiple words…well…you probably can tell how happy that makes me. Words have power and they can paint pictures in your mind. Many of the quotes that I have found do just that.
“We cannot cure the world of sorrow, but we can choose to live in joy.” ~Joseph Campbell
“When I fall in love, it will be forever.” ~Jane Austen
“Raise your words, not your voice. It is rain that grows flowers, not thunder.” ~Rumi
There is freedom waiting for you, on the breezes of the sky.
And you ask “What if I fall?”
Oh but my darling,”What if you fly?” ~e.h.
“Continents drift, and so do hearts.” ~John Mark Green
“Her eyes whisper melodic verses to which my heart alone can provide safe harbor.” ~Jason Andrea
“We are masters of unsaid words, but slaves of those we let slip out.” ~Winston Churchill
“She was free in her wilderness. She was a wanderess, a drop of free water. She belonged to no man and to no city.” ~Roman Payne
“When she transformed into a butterfly, the caterpillars spoke not of her beauty but of her weirdness. They wanted her to change back to what she had always been. But she had wings.” ~Dean Jackson
“She dances with songs in her head, speaks with the rhythm of her heart, and loves from the depths of her soul.” ~Dean Jackson
“Ask her what she craved and she’d get a little frantic about things like books, the woods, music. Plants and seasons. Also freedom.” ~Charles Fraizer
“Write hard and clear about what hurts.” ~Ernest Hemingway
